French village as an impression for French Dioramas
Two weeks before the covid 19 virus closed down everything in France, Germany and Switzerland (and the rest of the world), we visited with friends a nice village close to the German borderline. In this area heavy fighting happened on the German withdrawn and during the to the battle of the Bulge. So in case you need some inspiration for a diorama, you can use these pictures, as the village has kept his old charm and only small changes happened to the buildings. sorry that the pictures are all a bit dark, that day it was rainy and we had no sunshine.

Kurz bevor der Covid 19 Virus halb Europa zuhause eingesperrt hatte, waren wir mit Freunden im Elsass unterwegs und hatten dort eines der sehr schönen Dörfer besucht. In der Gegend um Strassburg gab es beim deutschen Rückzug sehr heftige Kämpfe und im Anschluss der Ardennenschlacht, versuchten die Wehrmacht hier wieder Boden gut zu machen. Das schöne ist, dass die meisten Dörfer ihren ursprünglichen Charme und Erscheinungsbild behalten haben.
