39/52 Billard eine französische Bunker-Lokomotive

Die kleine Lokomotive ist eher zufällig entstanden. Während ich für mein V2-Projekt was gesucht hatte, fand ich die Abbildung eines sehr alten Bausatzes. Eine V1 verladen auf einem kleinen Anhänger zusammen mit einer französchischen Schmalspurbahn. Da klingelte etwas bei mir, ja es gab in den Artilleriewerken der Maginot-Linie auch Schmalspurbahnen. Eine der dort eingesetzten Lokomotiven war die Billard T75. Von da war es dann nicht weit, die Lokomotive zu zeichnen und zusammen mit einem Wagen als Set für die V1 zu präsentieren. Die V1 sollte übrigens wirklich per Feldbahn transportiert werden. Im Vollausbau hätten die Abschussplätze einen Bunker für die Lagerung der V1 gehabt. Der Transport zum Startplatz und Endmontage hätte dann per Feldbahn erfolgen sollen. An einigen V1-Startplätzen finden sich noch solche Bunker und Eisenbahnschienen, auch wurden Feldbahnlok (Deutz oder O&K) beschafft. Die Billard T75 zusammen mit dem Wagens „Artillerie 1888" sind allerdings schon aus dem ersten Weltkrieg.

Es hat etwas gedauert, bis ich genug Daten und eine Zeichnung gefunden hatte, mein Französisch ist stark eingerostet. Aber es gibt Informationen im Internet. Der Plattformwagen ist noch aus der Zeit vor dem 1. Weltkrieg. die  Lokomotive wird hier oder hier oder hier beschrieben.

Ich habe gleich 3 Modelle daraus gemacht, einmal die Lokomotive, dann den Transportzug für die V1 und eine Kombination aus Lokomotive und Plattformwagen.

Billiard T75 narrow gauge locomotive

This little locomotive was built rather by accident. While I was looking for something for my V2 project, I found a picture of a very old kit. A V1 loaded on a small trailer together with a French narrow gauge. Something rang a bell with me, yes there were narrow gauge railroads in the Maginot Line artillery works. One of the locomotives used there was the Billard T75. From there it was not far to draw the locomotive and present it together with a wagon as a set for the V1. By the way, the V1 was really supposed to be transported by light rail. When fully assembled, the launch sites would have had a bunker for storage of the V1. Transport to the launch site and final assembly would then have been by light rail. Such bunkers and railroad tracks can still be found at some V1 launch sites, and field railroad locomotives (Deutz or O&K) were also procured. The Billard T75 together with the wagon "Artillery 1888" are however already from the First World War.

It took me a while to find enough data and a drawing, my French is very rusty. But there is information on the internet. The platform car is still from before WW1.The locomotive is described here or here or here.

Umzug, Horror für jeden Modellbau

Für die nächsten Wochen werde ich leider gezwungen etwas kürzer zu treten! Wir ziehen um und dies bedingt, dass ich alles, wirklich alles einpacken und dann später auch wieder auspacken und einräumen muss. Da ich nicht gerade wenige Sachen habe, ist dies sehr mühsellig, zumal der Rest unseres Haushaltes ja auch noch umgezogen werden will. Von daher nicht wundern, wenn Neuheiten in den nächsten Wochen eher selten werden.

Relocation, horror for every modeler

For the next few weeks I will unfortunately be forced to cut back a bit! We move and this requires that I have to pack everything, really everything and then later unpack and put away again. Since I don't have just a few things, this is very tedious, especially since the rest of our household also wants to be moved. So don't be surprised if new items will be rare in the next weeks.
