Man muss ja nicht immer nur seine eigenen Modelle vorstellen, andere Firmen haben auch interessante Modelle am Start. Beide Modelle sind mir mehr per Zufall untergekommen.

Die Fahrzeuge sind keine Neuheiten aber eine nette Kombination und mit der Bodenplatte kann man bestimmt ein recht schönes Diorama darstellen.

Harbour Defence Motor Launch (HDML) 1/144

Leider kann ich zu diesem Schiff nicht viel sagen, kenne mich mit den Schiffen der Royal Navy nicht wirklich aus. Aber der Bausatz sieht sehr gut aus, eine gelungende Mischung aus 3D gedruckten Teilen, Ätzteilen und aus Resin-Teilen.

You don't always have to present your own models, other companies also have interesting models at the start. I came across both models more by chance.

Pit Road:1/144 German Africa Corps (Battle of Tunisia)

The vehicles are not new but a nice combination and with the base plate you can certainly create a very nice diorama.

Harbor Defence Motor Launch (HDML) 1/144

Unfortunately I can't say much about this ship, I'm not really familiar with Royal Navy ships. But the kit looks very good, a good mix of 3D printed parts, etched parts and resin parts.

Brockway 666 crash tender class 155 06/52

Something new for Air Force and fire brigade friends.

Brockway delivered heavy trucks for the US Army. For the need of a new crash tender, the Army decided to use the Brockway 666 chassis. the Chassis was built in cooperation with White and other componies. More details and much more to learn here:

Deutsche Version

Der Brockway Crash tender kam erst später im 2. WK. Ursprünglich sollte er auf einem 2-Achs Rahmen aufgebaut werden, doch die ersten tests waren nicht zufriedenstellend. Also wurde das von White und Brockway gebaute schwere Chassis des 666 verwendet. Der Aufbau kam von verschiedenen Feuerwehrfirmen.  Die beiden Löschmonitore habe ich noch etwas aufgepeppt, in dem weissen Kunststoff lassen sich diese nicht so schön drucken.

British - American Landing Craft Tank - LCT Part I 28/52

The landing craft tank was after the LCM, the landing craft mechanized, the next bigger unit. Original a British design, the Americans cooperated with the British Navy and used the LCT in their Navy as well. Mark 5 was the first in the USA built version. They saw action on all theaters, D-Day, Mediterranean Area and Pacific. Even in the Korea and Vietnam war, some of them were still in use.

At the moment I wait for my second version. Based on the first prototype, I changed and added some details. With the final version you will get two rubber / rescue boats, a hand railing around the backside, changed the stairs a bit....

Deutsche Version

Das Landing Craft Tank war die nächst grössere Einheit der Allierten bei der Landung am D-Day. Das grösste Schiff, war das Landing Ship tank /LST). Aber das LCT ist schon ein sehr schönes Modell. Es konnte 5 Shermans oder 5 britische Churchills laden und an Land bringen.

Die Entwicklung der Landungsboote haben die Briten direkt nach Dünkirchen angefangen, mit dem Typ 5, sind die Amerikaner dann mit eingestiegen und haben diese Version dann gleich mit übernommen und auch in den USA gebaut. Daher auch der Typ 5, da dieser sowohl von der US Navy und von der Royal Navy eingesetzt wurde. Ich habe gelesen, dass die letzten Einheiten noch im Korea und Vietnam Krieg zum Einsatz kamen.

Das Steuerhaus wurde mit einem begehbaren Dach ergänzt, hier gab es wohl unterschiedliche Versionen

Die Rampe wird hoffentlich mit dem nächsten Protoypen beweglich sein.

1/144 Seitenansicht des Landing Craft Tank

Aktuell habe ich einen 2. Prototyp bestellt, der bekommt am Ruderhaus eine Rehling, die Treppen habe ich überarbeitet, die Rampe sollte jetzt beweglich sein und wer möchte, kann das Dach erhöhen. Weiter kommt die neue Version dann auch mit den beiden MGs, die das Schiff als Bewaffnung hatte.
