Freya LZ A Funkmessgerät 401
Ich konnte mal wieder nicht widerstehen, und habe einen weiteren deutschen Radar gezeichnet. Der Name Freya ist etwas verwirrend, es gab wohl mehrere Varianten, die alle Freya hiessen. Mein neustes Modell lautet offiziell Freya LZ A Funkmessgerät 401 (FuMG-401). Das Modell ist schnell fertig gestellt, lediglich die Beine müssen an das Unterteil geklebt werden. Was die Farbgebung angeht, so kann ich nicht viel sagen, die Sockel waren wohl aus Beton, die Beine wollte ich nicht auch noch schwarz lackieren; ich entschied mich für dunkelgrün. Der Mast mit den Dipolen wurde von mir einfach schwarz aus der Sprühdose lackiert. Die Kabine ist Wehrmacht Gelb und schon ist das Modell fertig.
Hier ein Link, wo man mehr über die verschiedenen Radartypen erfahren kann, ich kenne mich hier nicht wirklich gut aus, die verschiedenen Typen wurden ja teilweise zur Führung von Jagdflugzeugen oder zur Früherkennung eingesetzt.

Freya LZ A Radar FuMg-401
Once again I could not resist, and drew another German radar. The name Freya is a bit confusing, there were probably several variants, all called Freya. My latest model is officially called Freya LZ A Funkmessgerät 401 (FuMG-401). The model is quickly completed, only the legs need to be glued to the base. As for the color scheme, I can't say much, the bases were probably concrete, the legs I didn't want to paint black, so I opted for dark green. The mast with the dipoles was simply painted black from a spray can by me. The cabin is Wehrmacht yellow and the model is ready.
