Welcome to Africa II

I made a little progress this weekend. I have built the door and I like it.
Some words about the design of the door. It's made out of three layers of the white foam.
The dorr itself will be built with these small pieces of wood you get at coffee shops.

Africa drawing for the door

As I have Google Sketch, I use this free 3D software to draw things before I build them in real.
So here the the drawings created to get an idea how the door should look like:

As material I use again this foam board. It's easy to handle and cheap so that in the worst case I can throw away any rubbish I produced.
Here a picture with the latest state of my african door

Welcome to Africa

I saw some days ago a nice movie from a French "Wochenschau". For all who are not familliar with the name "Wochenschau": in times as nealy nobody had a radio or a television, (yes there was a time without Internet and texting), people went to the theatres to watch news. In Germany these news updates were called "Wochenschau" and they were full with propaganda. In one of these I saw an airplane passing by an italian fort. So I want to have my own italian Fort.
Here is the plan: a big entrance nearly a ruin and two houses.
On the base plate it should look like this:

okay to build such a big complex I do not have the space and time so I will stay with the plan below:

Obice da 305/17, Mörser aus dem 1. Weltkrieg in 1/144 Ich weiss auch nicht so recht, wie es gekommen ist, ich sollte andere Modelle zeichnen...
