Obice da 305/17, Mörser aus dem 1. Weltkrieg in 1/144
Ich weiss auch nicht so recht, wie es gekommen ist, ich sollte andere Modelle zeichnen. Aber ich fand das Modell interessant und eine brauchbare Zeichnung lag auch vor.
Also habe ich mich hingesetzt und einen Mörser aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg gezeichnet. Das Modell gibt es schon mehr oder weniger schön bei Shapeways, also habe ich mich hingesetzt und habe noch etwas Zubehör ergänzt, was die anderen Modelle nicht aufweisen. Das Original wurde teilweise auf einem Drehteller befestigt. Den habe ich jetzt nicht gezeichnet, der lässt sich schnell selbst herstellen. Von dem Mörser gab es auch eine fahrbare Variante, die nach meinem Geschmack einfach nur hässlich ist. Aber es scheint ein sehr brauchbarer Mörser gewesen zu sein, und die wenigen Fotos vom Original lassen erahnen, was für eine Mammutaufgabe es gewesen sein muss, den Mörser zu bewegen.
Das Modell kommt mit einem beweglichen Kanonenrohr, Munition und Ladekarren. Voraussichtlich Anfang Sommer wird das Modell dann erhältlich sein.
Obice da 305/17, mortar from the 1st World War in 1/144
I don't really know how it came about, I was supposed to draw other models. But I found the model interesting and I also had a usable drawing.
So I sat down and drew a mortar from the First World War. The model is already more or less available at Shapeways, so I sat down and added some accessories that the other models don't have. The original was partially mounted on a turntable. I didn't draw this, it's easy to make yourself. There was also a mobile version of the mortar, which to my taste is just ugly. But it seems to have been a very useful mortar, and the few photos of the original give an idea of what a mammoth task it must have been to move the mortar.
The model comes with a movable gun barrel, ammunition and loading cart. The model is expected to be available at the beginning of summer.
