Britischer Schmalspur- Zug 1. Weltkrieg in 1/144
Das neue Schmalspur-Set für Dioramen in 1/144 ist das Ergebnis eines ziemlich verregneten Sonntag Nachmittags. Da ich nichts vorhatte, meine Frau unterwegs war und das Wetter keine Gartenarbeit zugelassen hatte, blieb mir praktisch nichts anderes übrig, als zu zeichnen. So kam es, dass ich wieder ein neues Set mit Schmalspur-Modellen erschaffen habe. In Gedanken noch bei dem Modell des Aufklärungsballons aus dem 1. Weltkrieg, suchte ich im Netz nach britischen Vorlagen. Schnell bin ich auf zwei Lokomotiven gestoßen, wobei ich eine schon vom Sehen her kannte. Das zweite Modell kannte ich noch nicht. Als ich auch noch Zeichnungen gefunden hatte, war die Umsetzung extrem schnell erledigt. Auch entsprechende Wagons ließen sich recht schnell finden, weshalb es halt gleich einen kompletten Zug gab. Somit habe ich jetzt einen französischen, einen englischen und einen deutschen Zug, jeweils aus der Epoche des 1. Weltkrieges im Programm. Vielleicht baue ich dann im Laufe des Jahres auch noch ein entsprechendes Diorama. Wer Anregung sucht, es gibt von Samy Modellbau ein sehr schönes Diorama und im Video zeigt er auch die Entstehung der Modelle und des Dioramas, alles in 1-144.
Alle meine Schmalspur-Modelle passen auf meine 4 mm Schienen und sind nicht motorisierbar.

British narrow gauge train 1st world war in 1/144
The new narrow gauge set for dioramas in 1/144 is the result of a rather rainy Sunday afternoon. As I had no plans, my wife was out and the weather didn't allow any gardening, I had practically no choice but to draw. So I ended up creating another set of narrow gauge models. Still thinking about the model of the reconnaissance balloon from the First World War, I searched the net for British models. I quickly came across two locomotives, one of which I already knew by sight. I did not yet know the second model. When I also found drawings, the conversion was done extremely quickly. The corresponding wagons were also easy to find, which is why I ended up with a complete train. So I now have a French, an English and a German train, each from the era of the First World War in my program. Perhaps I will also build a corresponding diorama in the course of the year. If you are looking for inspiration, there is a very nice diorama from Samy Modellbau and in the video he also shows the creation of the models and the diorama, all in 1-144.
All my narrow gauge models fit on my 4 mm track and cannot be motorized.
