crusaders in the dessert

As I just got my new crusaders last week, I placed them on a new basement for a dessert project I work on.
The tanks are just out of the box. The only missing thing is the sun going down. :-)

new tanks from Panzer Depot

Yesterday I got a new delivery from Panzer Depot. This time I have to say I like all the tanks.
One of the highlights is the British Crusader MK III.
This tank looks really good. SdKfz 251/7 comes in the 500th version, but I have to admit, that the solution with the removable Schnellbruecke is smart.

Wehrmachtszelte, tents of the German Army

At the moment I work on a Diorama which will show a German unit while they get ready for the next attack. So I thought having some tents where the crew of my tanks would spend their night, would be nice.
Therefore I designed them with my 3D program and just got them back from the printer.
I designed small and a bigger version.

new diorama for my collection

This week I got from an Ebay seller a new diorama.
The ruins are made out of very thick plastic sheets and are well painted. 
So for the first impression a really good diorama.
Maybe I will add some more details to it in the next weeks.

Goliath in 1/144

I just got my updated version of the German Goliath back from Shapeways.
In the next days I will paint them and maybe I will sell some on Ebay.

Ruins in 1/144

Over the last days I finished some ruins, which I had designed with a 3D program.

Goliath in 1/144

Some years ago we could buy a small Goliath with some F-Toys boxes.
I believe it was from F-Toys.
But you could buy them only if bought a complete set and then you may get a Goliath.
For me these times are gone. After some trials I got from Shapeways my first 3D printed Goliath.
