Oil drum trailer for German Wehrmacht in 1/144

At the beginning of the war, the Germans used some small trailers to support the tanks when travelling longer distances. These trailers have been a very simple and cheap design with one or two oil drums on it.

Here is my new print, a German trailer with two Oil drums on the trailer.

some promotion for myself :-)

In the last days I have decided that I will share a lot of my 3D designs, which  I have uploaded at Shapeways, with everybody who wants.

At the moment I can offer you 23 of my models. The good point is, I offer only models which I have tested before, so at least with my delivery they looked good.
If there is something you would like, so please send me your comments.
I hope you like my models and if everything runs well, I will be a Millionaire in around 10.000 years.

new old Dioramas

While all my stuff is still on its way to Europe, I will present you some of my very first dioramas I built many years ago.
For all dioramas I used empty food packages, which I filled up with Gypsum.
Then I scratched the surface and painted everything.
I hope you like them, even they are very old.

Panther turret in Italy

As all my stuff is still on its way to me, I will present in the next weeks some of my older work.
Let us start with my Panther turret on a small display.
The basement is a Gypsum part where I engraved the trench and the entrance to my tank turret.

Back to work

It took a bit time, but now I´m back to work. Since January the first we live again in Switzerland. So at Christmas we had to say Goodbye to California, where we spent three beautiful years.
Switzerland welcomes me with a lot of rain, cold wind and maybe very soon with the first snow for this year.
As soon as my tanks and all tools arrive I will start publishing again my work. In the time inbetween I will present you some of my older work.

Best place to store and present my tanks - tank shelf for my 1/144 tanks

Anyway if you collect tanks, ships,or airplanes, one question we all have!
What is the best solution to store your collection and to present it.
Over the years I found some nice boxes, where I was able to store my tanks. For the dioramas I use shoe boxes. So everything is fine. Or not? Actually I felt more and more the need to present at least some of my tanks. But everything I found so far was ether to expensive or to small. From Daiso, a Japanese Store I got some nice displays, but there I could store only 5 or maximum 10 tanks.
By an accident I found the solution for my problem. Ebay, or better Dennis!
He is the solution to all my problems (regarding to the storage problem :-) )
He sells hand made shelves via Ebay, and right now as I got my first one, I can say, the quality is extremely good and even much more important, the shelf has exactly the dimensions I wanted to have. That is no wonder, as Dennis is specialized in custom orders, built to any buyers specification. Any scale or any size, he can do it.
In one row I can easy present 9 up to 10 tanks and with 13 rows it will keep up to `30 tanks.
So no wonder I bought some more.
For all who are interested in the beautiful work from Dennis, here is his ebay name and his actions:

Normally I do not do any promotion and I will get nothing from Dennis for telling you about his perfect shelves. But as this is good quality and a more than fair price, you should give him a chance and check his auctions on Ebay.
