1/144 Diorama: Bunkerstellung in Norwegen
Ein kleines Diorama zur Entspannung
Mit einer der letzten Bestellungen von Shapeways habe ich noch ein paar Varianten des Horch Kübel bekommen. Einerseits ein Set mit dem kleinen Suchscheinwerfer 60 cm und dem dazugehörenden Stromaggregat, sowie eine Version mit aufgesetzter 2 cm Flak; oft in Afrika eingesetzt, und als letzte Sonderform, eine abgeänderte Karosserie. In der Form fuhr der Horch zusammen mit dem schweren Vomag LKW, auf dem die 88 mm Flak montiert war. Der Horch übernahm dann die Rolle als Schutz gegen Tiefflieger.
Die Modelle sollten dann auf einem kleinen Diorama präsentiert werden. Ich sag mal, sollte, weil wie oft, habe ich das Diorama dann doch anders gestaltet, als ich es vorgesehen hatte. Letztendlich haben es zwei Bunker auf das Modell geschafft und die Horch Modelle sind rausgefallen. Die Fertigstellung hat etwas gedauert, ich hatte in den letzten Wochen nicht viel Zeit zum Basteln. Aber das Modell zu basteln hat sehr viel Spass gemacht.
Herausgekommen ist ein Landschaftsausschnitt, irgendwo in Norwegen mit zwei kleinen Bunkern / Flakstellungen. Die offene Stellung für die 5 cm KwK habe ich aus Foam zugeschnitten, der an ein Modell von Verlinden angelehnte, offene Flakstand, ist in 3 D gedruckt worden. Dort sollte eigentlich meine neue 37 mm Flak stehen, doch das Modell stimmt vom optischen Eindruck irgendwie nicht, weshalb ich es neu drucken lassen muss.

A small diorama for relaxation
With one of the last orders from Shapeways, I received a few variants of the Horch Kübel. On the one hand a set with the small 60 cm searchlight and the corresponding power unit, as well as a version with a 2 cm anti-aircraft gun mounted on top; often used in Africa, and as the last special form, a modified body. In this form, the Horch drove together with the heavy Vomag truck, on which the 88 mm anti-aircraft gun was mounted. The Horch then took over the role of protection against low-flying aircraft.
The models were then to be presented on a small diorama. I say should, because as is often the case, I ended up designing the diorama differently than I had intended. In the end, two bunkers made it onto the model and the Horch models fell out. It took a while to finish the model, as I didn't have much time to build it in the last few weeks. But building the model was a lot of fun.
The result is a landscape section, somewhere in Norway with two small bunkers / anti-aircraft positions. I cut the open position for the 5 cm KwK out of foam, the open flak position, based on a model by Verlinden, was printed in 3D. My new 37 mm anti-aircraft gun was supposed to be there, but the model somehow doesn't look right, so I have to have it reprinted.
