 Bachem Natter - ein Original Nachbau

Martin von https://kampfgruppe144.blogspot.com/ hat mich auf den Facebook-Eintrag hingewiesen. Da ich kein Facebook habe (und auch nicht will), wäre es mir völlig entgangen. Aber ich finde die Geschichte dort so interessant, dass ich auch mal was aus dem Bereich Fliegerei vorstelle.

Die Bachem Natter war ein zum Ende des Krieges entwicketes Raketenflugzeug, bis auf wenige Teile komplett aus Holz gefertig. Im Technikmuseum Speyer hat sich wohl jetzt ein Team daran gemacht, die Natter 1:1 nachzubauen. Dabei ging es nicht nur darum, die Natters, sondern auch um die Fertigung bzw. Fertigungsmethoden der vielen Teile. 

Einfach mal lesen und staunen, was selbst kleine Teile für einen Aufwand hinter sich herziehen.

Bachem Natter - an original replica

Martin from https://kampfgruppe144.blogspot.com/ pointed me to the Facebook entry. Since I don't have Facebook (and don't want to), I would have missed it completely. But I find the story there so interesting that I also present something from aviation.

The Bachem Natter was a rocket plane developed at the end of the war, except for a few parts made entirely of wood. At the Technikmuseum Speyer a team has now started to rebuild the Natter 1:1. It was not only about the Natters, but also about the production or manufacturing methods of the many parts. 

Just read and be amazed at the effort that even small parts go through.
