1/144 Scammel und Cranes Anhänger, britisches Abschleppteam

Beide Modelle wollte ich schon lange zeichnen. Doch der Cranes Anhänger war schwierig, es gab kaum Unterlagen dazu im Internet. Erst durch einen Zufall habe ich eine brauchbare Zeichnung gefunden. So entstand dieses ungewöhnliche Set.

Den Scammel Abschleppwagen habe ich in verschiedenen Ausführungen in meiner Sammlung. Ein Model ist aus UK, von Graham Models, schön, aber viele Blasen und Nacharbeiten erforderlich, die Form ist wohl schon sehr alt. Ein Modell ist aus Japan, ich glaube von Kami de Korokoro oder Fairy Kikaku. 

Auf der Seite O5m6.de gibt es auch ein schönes Originalbild, allerdings aus Afrika.

Hier sieht man, wie die britische Armee mit einem Scammel und Coles Anhänger, den Turm eines Panzers IV abtransportiert.

I had wanted to draw both models for a long time. But the Coles trailer was difficult, there was hardly any documentation on the Internet. It was only by chance that I found a usable drawing. That's how this unusual set came about.

I have various versions of the Scammel tow truck in my collection. One model is from the UK, from Graham Models, nice, but many bubbles and reworking required, the mold is probably already very old. One model is from Japan, I think from Kami de Korokoro or Fairy Kikaku. 

There is also a nice original picture on the O5m6.de website, albeit from Africa. Here you can see the British army using a Scammel and Cole's trailer to remove the turret of a Panzer IV.
