Coleman MB-4 tug tractor for US-Air Force

The Coleman MB-4 was used by the US Air Force to tow airplanes on the ground.

The idea for this small truck came from Wes who saw my airfield equipment, which is at the moment at Shapeways for printing. So he gave me some wonderful  input and here we are:

With my next order for Shapeways I will get the Coleman printed and will offer it then as a double pack for sale.

So if you have any wishes for future models, just let me know.

Once the Coleman is at the printer I will go along with an post war crash tender.

One last note,

the wheels might will change a bit, I will change the profile a bit.

new tanks in 1/144

There a lot new tanks and other stuff coming soon. But as I changed my job, I run out of time. By end of the day I still have so much to do and the day is already over. Maybe once I get more routine I will find a way to be again more productive.
So today I present a picture of my work bench with tons of unfinished models.

The first addon set for 1/144 tanks

Over the last months I collected ideas for stuff I would need to pimp my tanks. I remember that many years ago I bought something made from etched cuper. But after several relocation it got lost. Therefore I designed some stuff, which I could use with any Panther.

So based on original pictures I came up with this  stuff:

- side covers for 2 tanks
- 3 x Buckets
- 2 radio antennas
- some tooling

- 2 x wheels, often used as additional protection for the turret

- 2 lids for the commander cuppola
- several German cans
- 4× Oil drums

Meanwhile it came back from the printer and here the first pictures:

If there is enough interest I will do the same set with other German tanks.

1/144 weapon loader and ground equipement set for modern aircrafts

This time I designed something different from my normal routine.
By request from somebody via Shapeways I designed a modern weapon loader as used by the US Air Force. As it was a very easy job, it took me only some hours, I added with a second set even more stuff for modern fighter jets.
With a second set you get now several items for your ground crew. For example a hydraulic test stand, a modern generator and some small trailers for the transport of rockets of bombs.

With the ground equipment you get:

- a generator with lights

- 2 small trailers for bomb or rocket transport

- 2 small flat bet trailers

- a hydraulic test trailer

- an electrical component test center

New old Dioramas in 1/144

While I was searching for some old pictures I found some nice pictures with dioramas, all in the scale 1/144.
They have been presented some years ago on the German fair "Intermodellbau" from a seller there.

Kaelble AZR tractor

Here some more pictures about the Kaelble truck.
You can use the tractor for the Kriegsmarine, Luftwaffe and for the Wehrmacht.
If you like it more non-military, even the Reichsbahn used this heavy tractor.

German Bunkerbahn narrow gauge in 1/144

Besides all the other projects I work on a small diorama about a German secret Bunker complex.
At the end of the war the Germans rushed to bring important factories under the earth. Therefore a lot of secret projects in Austria and East Germany were initiated.  My project will be a mixture of  German and French Bunkers.
