1/144 Brigadelok und Wassertender
Eigentlich
habe noch genug andere Modelle die ich angefangen und noch nicht fertig gemacht
habe. Aber wie so oft bei mir, habe ich doch diese Woche mit was Neuem
angefangen und zum Glück auch fertig gezeichnet. Dieses Mal ist es wieder eine
Schmalspurlokomotive, jedoch aus dem ersten Weltkrieg. Ich weiss gar nicht, wie
ich dazu gekommen bin, ich konzentriere mich ja immer auf alles aus dem 2.
Weltkrieg. Egal, die Lok hatte mir gefallen und der Wassertender war auch in
einem halben Tag fertig, da er in beide Achsen symmetrisch ist.
Brigadeloks
gibt es heute noch viele, z.B. beim Feldbahnmuseum in Frankfurt / Main, deren
Exemplar ist sogar noch fahrbereit. Diese wurden von vielen deutschen Herstellern
für das kaiserliche Heer gebaut und wohl überall recht erfolgreich eingesetzt. Mehr

Mein
Modell kommt in 2 Versionen, einmal mit dem Wassertender und dann als eine Art
Startpackung mit ein paar passenden Schienen. Das Gestänge ist nicht so ganz dem Original entsprechend, hier musste ich viele Kompromisse eingehen, was halt druckbar ist. Dafür habe ich an anderer Stelle was Neues ausprobiert. Die Lok kommt mit den typischen Nieten. Eigentlich bin ich gegen die Darstellugn von Nieten, einfach weil die meisten Nieten in 1/144 einfach so klein wären, dass man sie realistisch nicht darstellen kann.

Update!Während ich schon dabei war, den Artikel zu veröffentlichen, habe ich gesehen, dass der Wassertender falsch ist. die Gestaltung des Daches ist falsch, muss ich bis zum Druck noch korrigeren.

1/144 Brigadelok and water tender
Actually, I have enough other models that I have started and not yet finished. But as so often with me, I started this week with something new and fortunately also finished drawing. This time it is again a narrow gauge locomotive, but from the first world war. I do not know how I came to it, I always concentrate on everything from the 2nd World War. Anyway, I liked the loco and the water tender was also finished in half a day, because it is symmetrical in both axles.
There are still many brigade locomotives today, e.g. at the Feldbahnmuseum in Frankfurt / Main, their example is even still ready to run. These were built by many German manufacturers for the Imperial Army and were probably used quite successfully everywhere. More about the history of the Brigadelok can be found at Wikipedia oder here.
My model comes in 2 versions, once with the water tender and then as a sort of starter pack with some matching rails. The linkage is not quite according to the original, here I had to make many compromises, which is just printable. But I tried something new at another place. The loco comes with the typical rivets. Actually, I am against the representation of rivets, simply because most rivets in 1/144 would be so small that they cannot be represented realistically.
